Corey, I'll tell you how dumb I am...until your last post I never even noticed that you had posted about ND going to a bowl right above Dave's post...(you did kind of couch it in "slip under the wire" terms).

    I gotta get a brain.

    ....

<r>its ok Stu, from what I have gathered.. the 60s and 70s were rough on everyone in the long run.

Husker.

You think your having a rough go of it? Well...actually looking at the laundry list I can't really say you aren't...

It could be worse though. While Callie seems to be sucking, he is still bringing some talent in... You could have the 'molder of men' as your new HC
That's where you and Jo'Co are so far off base.

I have never predicted anything for Florida this year other than a possible....and I have said possible SEC Championship.

At this point and after the Auburn and LSU losses it is still a possibility.....but not a loudly proclaimed prediction as it never was for me this year.

At least try and get it right.

    Bill hit on something here.

Bill and I used to argue... maybe just a little shy of fighting... back in my early Prodigy days. We finally met face to face I think in 1995 or 1996. Since then, I don't think there has been even one argument.

JO'Co and Corey... Corey especially... We used to have big fights in the Prodigy days. We met in 1994 at the Rose Bowl... not the Rose Bowl game but at the UCLA vs Tennessee game where Peyton Manning played his first game in Tennessee Orange. Since that time, we have disagreed but never argued.

Now HuskerFan is the only wrench in the works. I have personally met him but right now he hates everyone!

It is that personal contact that makes one sit back and think before throwing out barbs. That face that you put to a name makes a difference. Especially with the passing of AJNJ, we should all get out and meet each other.

I am personally inviting MCG and GaterzFan to come to the Tennessee / Florida game next year. It is as long if not longer trip for me than for you since I am coming from Austin Texas and RV to every game I go to.

Huskerfan is not the only one. I met Stu, ElPaso Irish and O'Keefe several years ago. Stu and EPI are great but even though I brought a heirloom as a gift for Terry, he still treats me like crap.

Oh Gawd, I forgot about Bo being transformed to HuskerBo after a brief retooling and new paint job at DentalWorks in Houston. It is incredible how much horrific, evil mojo was packed in a small, seemingly innocous bobblehead. Here you had a great football program (which pancaked Fla of the mighty SEC in a BCS championship game) whose great tradition was based upon upon power, smashmouth force, and a very underrated, deceptive option attack.

Enter HuskerBo and, overnight, they hire an AD who gets the bright idea to transform the Huskers into a tree huggin' PAC 10 school with a circa 1994 "West Coast" offense.

Well, I see the AD got canned so maybe the spell of HuskerBo has finally dissipated.

    Thank God!

Bob has saved me from further suffering.

Dare I hope a drubbing at the hands of AJ's hapless Huskers could hasten Devil Fran's departure??

    Damn right I do!!

That's not worth much in Alabama anymore. As a matter of fact I believe most have been "recycled".
