LSU comes up short on a must make 4th and 2 and lose in overtime to Kentucky 43-37 All I can say is Wow and hope the Wildcats are worn out as we play them in Lexington next Sat. Way to go Wildcats!
Sucks to be in the top 5 this year! Luckily, my Aggies have no worries in that department! 5 games left in the Dennis Franchione Fair-well tour! 8)
My thoughts exactly Bill. If LSU fails on just one 4th down last week UF probably wins that game Oh well....
Gentlemen: That was one whale of a game. See sawed back and forth most of the way. I can not believe the difference in this Kentucky team. Don
Does anybody think Rich Brooks can't coach? This is the best Kentucky team...week to week....that I have ever seen. I hope that the 3 OTs took something out of them. Maybe Ky will re-energize by the time the Vols come to town..
I know what you probably meant, but I hope the UF players/coaches are looking at it from the angle of "If UF stopped LSU on just one 4th down last week UF probably wins that game." Seems a better way to approach it than just waiting for the other team to fail.
Agreed Wendy and I am certain Meyer has pointed out harshly to the defense how Kentucky was able to do what UF could not do.
