    The exodus continues. Apparently.

Sources are now saying that reserve OG Chris Stewart is leaving the Irish now. He is the 4th recruit from the 2206 group to flee, joining Zach Frazier, Demetrius Jones and Konrad Reuland. For the recruitnicks, that three four stars and a five star.

It appears the Irish may be able to sign up to 50 new players in this next class

Something ain't right behind the scenes boys.

It's not unual at other programs, but it is unusal at ND. At Texas it's actually pretty much the norm that 3 or 4 guys out of each class end up leaving the program and it's a program avg 10 wins a year recently.

The impact is more embarassing though than anything else when combined with the 0-4 start. Neither Frazer or Jones had much future at ND and Reuland had fallen below a true freshman at TE with 2 big time TE's comming in next years class. Stewart was and still is a project at OL or DL, so his loss won't really affect much. But as I said in combination it makes it look like rats jumping ship, and maybe it is, maybe Charlie has lost the team. If so that is really bad.

These are all sophs who're finding themselves playing behind freshmen. That's what happens when all you have are freshmen and sophomores and its what happens when the younger players are better than the older players. This is life in the post-Willingham era. That man really damaged the program and, without transfers, we're just going to have to live with this until the dust clears, and that might take two years...

<t>Exactly the time I see as well as even though the Irish have a highly thought of class on the way they are still freshmen. Two years.</t>
