Carson is now playing football. He's played LB, FB, OC, OG, and DT. He really wants to play QB and he can throw the ball well enough... At this age, there's really no point though because even though lefty can throw it, no one else can catch it. I thought he did well. They double teamed him when he played DT on every play and he stood them both up. Its funny because he owns the double team, but doesn't know to go for the ball. (thus the double team works) He needs to learn to shed the block and go for the ball carrier. On offense he locks up as many as they line up across from him. Still, he tells me privately he's not the biggest fan of playing OG and he hasn't learned how fun DT can be yet. It was a jamboree so he played two games. Here's two pictures from between the action. His team is terrible because almost no one shows up for practice. They finally had about 14 kids there for the game. (they'd been averaging about 5 to 7 kids at practice). They will get better as the bigger kids on the team get more 'real time' practice.
#54!! Greg Bingham's number...he had a great career with the team formerly known as the Houston Oilers!
his mom <r>has noticed that he is the same number as Dontarrious Thomas, her favorite recent Auburn player. She swears that his number selection was a coincidence, I wasn't there to confirm this <E></E> Either way, he seems to be having a lot of fun.<br/> <br/> I thought I'd put a few up on Grandparents day for JOCO and grams <E></E></r>
