Emanuel Moody will announce on Mon. where he is transferring but USC's prolific back from last season may wind up a Gator eligible to play in Tim Tebow's junior year:

I posted something about Moody a few days ago. He's a good one, but USC has 10 good ones and he was 3rd string. The last I heard, he was undecided between Florida and North Carolina after announcing that he was going to Okie State. Wherever he winds up, here's what we know for sure.

    1. He's a great back. Just ask him.

    2. He will not sit the bench. He gets all the carries or he walks.

    3. He will believe whoever tells him the most lies. Bet on Urban.

Interesting move. I hope Urban doesn't recruit any TB's in the mean time because he doesn't like that!! :)

LOL, don't know what Moody has done or will do ..... but I do know that UM learned his recruiting skills and tactics while an asst coach during the last half of the 90s.

    BTW...

Moody was not Pac10 Frosh of the year, nor was he a frosh All-American. The Pacific 10 Conference had Tri-Freshmen Players of the Year last season. They were Taylor Mays of USC, Alterraun Verner of UCLA; and Jairus Byrd of Oregon. Here is the complete list of Pac10 players who were freshmen All-Americans:

    Freshman All-America Selections:

Eben Britton, OT, Arizona (first team)
Taylor Mays, FS, USC (first team)
Alterraun Verner, CB, UCLA (first team)
Jairus Byrd, CB, Oregon (second team)
Reggie Carter, OLB, UCLA (third team)
Kyle Loomis, P, Oregon State (third team)
Walter Thurmond, CB, Oregon (third team)
Ekom Udofia, NT, Stanford (third team)

"USC tailback Emmanuel Moody decided to transfer Wednesday, possibly to Oklahoma State.

Moody was unhappy with his role, according to sources.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound sophomore rushed for 458 yards on 79 carries yards last season before missing the last four games after spraining his ankle against Oregon.

He was The Sporting News' Pac-10 Offensive Freshman of the Year"

I guess it depends on who is doing the ranking eh Jo'Co?

That's a good one Gaterz about Urban learning how to "recruit" by the Golden Dome.

I don't take the Sporting News, but I do read The Skybox. Based on what I've seen here, Moody will fit in perfectly at Florida...

You know what JO'Co I have always admired you as one of the best posters with some of the most knowledge here on Skybox.

    But when you say
    and
You are, to put it bluntly, full of crap.

And the remarks about where Meyer learned to recruit are out of line and this topic seems to be heading where so many others head!

    So it's dead!

And if we can't learn respect for one another others will be dead.
