    I don't want to say it too loud for fear the house of cards will crumble. It's August 3 and there are two full months to go. A lot can happen, but it's better to be looking sideways and down than the traditional upward view that we Cubs fans are so accustomed to at this point in the season.

    The Cubs are not doing well, courtesy of the Stros. The good news is, the Brewers are losing also, so the Cubs still are only one game out of first.
