Two weeks ago, Go Vols Xtra changed from a pay site to a free site. Just today, Fighting Gators went free as well.

Oops, I missed the catch on Fighting Gators. They are offering premium content for free only through 4-Jul. Go Vols Xtra has moved to a totally free site.

Well the Fighting Gators site is a replace for Ray's site, was it called SwampGas? Ray, the owners of BuckNuts, OUInsider, InsideTexas are all suing Scout.com for breach of contract and some other stuff. Ray, BuckNuts and I believe OUInsider have all gone independent. They owned the rights to their team site names and so Scout had to come up with a new Gator site. Obviously Ray took most of his customers with him and Scout is giving discounts to try and get some members.

Go Vols Xtra is actually owned by Knoxville News. It is not the officiat Tennessee website but publishes more insider info than the official site.

What's the site that our old Prodigy friend Bob Rhinehart (plummervol?) is a moderator or owner of?

To be honest, this is the only board I check into regularly. I have forgotten which board he is on.

Bob and I left Prodigy on bad terms. He sponsored one of his family members in one of the Prodigy "wagers" we had. I don't remember if it was with Florida or Alabama. His family member did not pay off when we lost and as the originator of the wager, I took flack from the opposition in e-mail. When I chastised him for not paying off, Bob took it hard. I have nothing against Bob and welcomed him on the Skybox but as far as I remember, he never acknowledged my welcome.

I don't care who you are, if you don't do the right thing, expect me to sound off.

Yeah I can see where welshing on a debt wouldn't tend to strengthen friendships.

He's actually a registered member here although he only posted a few times. He offered to help the Irish guys (if I remember correctly the Irish were his 2nd favorite team) we went to Knoxville in 2001.

Tom! Why didn't you come to me with this problem. I have a friend, Vinnie D., who specializes in tardy collections. His success rate is flawless and you frequently get back more than the original debt.

One thing. One day I may call upon you to do me a service....

The Scout Gator site is pretty dead now that GatorCountry left.

You can log onto GatorCountry by just typing GatorCountry.com.

Ray has inked an association with ESPN as has Bucknuts and some others.

Ray has the best Gator site on the Net.

And that isn't just because he hosts us!

Sorry... didn't realize I was advertising Ray's competition... even though they may not be much competition.

No problem Tom, I doubt Ray is worried. He is really rolling with GatorCountry right now. The affiliation with ESPN looks pretty good and they are now editing their own GatorCountry magazine which is going to come out 10 times a year.
