Suddenly it seems like I actually have an interest in the Big East and I think there are some pretty capable teams in there that are fun to watch.

I'm talking L'ville, Rutgers, USF and W. Va.

Where did these guys come from all of a sudden?

    MCG,
I hear ya but let's see where they or any of their conference mates are after the bowl games. Remember Fresno? Hawaii is supposed to contend for the NC aren't they?

Hawaii is supposed to be this year's version of Boise State I believe...and hey....they did beat OU in a BCS bowl.

On the Big East I watched some games like Rutgers/Louisville and it makes Thurs. night football something to watch now.

    I like that.

I can't wait to get to see Pat White and Steve Slaton operate that offense at WVA again this year. It's the most exciting offense in college.

    Terry,
I agree there have been many exciting offenses over the years in college football, but I still subscribe to the old, old adage that defense win championships.
