WADR to the king of overstatement, if JF was really "all that" he wouldn't have been hiring a new baseball and women's basketball coaches. He's a pretty good AD but let's give credit where credit is due ...... Vandy!! Just take a look at their baseball, basketball, and woman's bowling!!

BTW ... does Finebaum forget that the SEC has 8 national titles in 2006-07 and UF only has two of them??

Foley's a great AD but has also benefitted from being in the right place at the right time.

And wasn't it just 3 years ago that LSU won the NC? Florida is having quite a run but if you read or listen to Finebaum it will rot your brain.

Gators are in the zone as they say. USC has been in the football zone for 5 years now, but not in basketball like UF has been for the last 2 years. It's not very often you see a school do as much in multiple big time sports as the Gators. Texas had a football and baseball NC, the Huskers had a great run in football in the mid 90's.

But the Gators right now are really hot, appreciate it while you can. It's not likely to last, your competition won't stand still.

Yeah...the downside is it's a pace that's impossible to sustain.

I would be ecstatic with an SEC... football.. title this year.....ecstatic.

Wow....how unusual it is to have to clarify that.
