All you have to do is stop by in Dallas to pick it up!! Gotta sell the girl, even though I've only had it 8 months. The possibility of my work drive tripling in length scares me too much to keep it.
Wowza! That's a nice ride and it looks like exactly what I want. Unfortunately, I have a 120 mile daily commute myself, so until I move out there where I work, I'm stuck with my little '98 Chevy S-10...
Scott, Send me a e-mail with particulars. (payoff, miles, year model etc.) Although it is the wrong brand for me, there are a lot of Ford people in this small rural town.
I know you won't believe it Terry, but I got that color totally by accident. I test drove a bright red unit the day I was shopping, but they sold it out from under me. To "make it up" to me, they said they'd get me a better one for the same price. I showed up the next day, and the beautiful maroon was waiting. Don't worry, I won't leave my 12thMan Foundation stickers on it. 8) TB... agreed, it's a great ride. Unfortunately my budget won't allow for me to drive this rig 70 miles a day for work, which is what might be on my horizon!
Is this truck used in construction jobs, or to move cargo, or to haul whatever? If not, wouldnt a sedan or a SUV be the vehicle of choice?
Below I will illustrate the difference between a "Texas truck" and everything else. First, let us consider the typical "truck" from the northeastern states: Cute... but not good for much. Then you have your typical work truck from the Lone star: Not hard to tell the difference... 8)
Scott, I would like to suggest that you get on the leading edge with a SmartCar, high gas mileage for the comming 6$ a gallon gas!! Comfy for 1 on a commute.
I am being forced to retract that last question. Let it be known that I would not any any way consider reserving the blonde. I live by the following statement:
