The Goodman kid from Ft. Wayne (Samardzjia-type size) has legitimate D1 speed as shown by his performances in the 100 and 200 meter dashes in the state track tournament. He did not win any events but he was consistently in the top 3 or 4 at the sectional and regional level, and I think he qualified for the state finals in the 100, although he did not place in the top 8.
We have a lot of players who came in with a lot of hype who have never cleared the bench. Give me an opportunity with a local kid like Goodman who WANTS to play for the Irish and is used to the climate. He has good size and above avergae speed. If he can run precise routes and has good hands we have a winner.
I don't want to knock Goodman, but we don't have the kind of speed an athleticism you see at USC/Texas/Fla or the SEC at WR....yet. The Benn kid would have been that type of homerun reciever that we needed.
 Wow. Lemming has this kid rated as the #1 nose guard in America; a 300-pounder who can dunk a basketball. Chalk up another one for Corwin. Wowza...
JO'Co.. <t>Take a look at the Rivals film on him. Talk about cat quick and throws people around with ease. Great looking prospect for sure.</t>
