Returning lettermen = gridiron success?

    If you believe that returning experienced players has merit with regard to being a predictor of a team's upcoming chance's for success then you will say we should just hand the trophy over to USC right now.

    USC leads the nation by a mile with 78 returning lettermen.

    Miami has 67 coming back and I have said look out for Ky as they have 60 coming back.

    Other teams better have some damned good young talent like Ohio St and Fla with 38 each and then there is Notre Dame with only 30 returnees.

    Wow...that's a lot of green players for ND to face such a daunting schedule with.

    Weiss has his work cut out for him this year.

    You said it. But watch out for the Irish from that point on. They are going to be hard to live with.
