Why didn't you tell me about this before? I just obligated myself to a 10 K procedure involving two implants.

Is that you on the right, Doc? Do you accept Delta Dental? How about Delhi Dental?

Just imagine how much more comfortable their patients will be when they upgrade to Black&Decker drills...

No joke, but Kim's great uncle lives in Spain, and he's told us that the cost of dentistry in India is so low that people actually take vacation there while also getting treatment.

And who could pass up slogans like these.....

"Caste off your worries about Indian dentistry"

"Prices so low you will singh!"

"Our promise to Hindus and Buddhists - we will not make you Sikh"

    :D

You are correct BDR, there is a whole industry of travel agents who will set you up with Dentists in Eastern Europe or Asia depending on where you want to travel. They get you deals where you get the work done and the trip for the same or cheaper than the dentistry in the USA. No warranties given though. :)

I feel for you Jif. I have dental insurance, but all it covers are xrays and fillings. I am getting two implants to replace a couple of fractured teeth and all it covered were the xrays. What a bargain!
