If they were playing in the street with their instrument case open for you to drop some money?

The Washington Post put Joshua Bell, one of the worlds greatest viola players in the DC Metro Station, and had him play his 3.5 million dollar Stradavari. He was hardly recognized by anyone, and he only made 32$. Interesting.

I think he'd have done pretty well if he played the Fight Song of the Fighting Irish. People would have stopped and listened, I'm sure. Then he could have gone into the Eyes of Texas and money would've flowed!! :)

Check out the article and the video clips they have.

Let's see him try that stunt at the bus station downtown. That Stradivarius would be hanging in a pawn shop before the concerto was finished...

I've seen and heard them on PBS. Absolutely beautiful.....the music AND the women. I second that hubba-hubba. I love the little gal who dances all over the stage while playing her fiddle.

They are outstanding. I love they way they sing and they aren't too hard on the eyes are they!! :)

There is something about the Celtic music that really resonated with my soul, I can't quite put my finger on it though. Oridinarily I'm a 50's/60's and classic country music guy.
