Gators by 11 at the half. Oden only 1 foul. Interesting that Donavan is going to make Oden play, and figures he'll wear out. Also I have to say the Gators 3 pt shooting is impressive, it was impressive against UCLA and continues to be so against Ohio State. Brewer and Green continue to play this way I can't see the Buckeyes winning. I think Brewer has the Best NBA future of all the Gators, he's a big and quick small forward who can defend and shoot. I'm not sure Noah has the bulk to be effective at Center or PF, Horford could be a good PF though.

I don't know what to think of Oden, in the college game he still struggles and it is 5x tougher in the NBA. I'm not sure he has a move like Hakeems Dream Shake or the Sky Hook like Jabbar, it seems that you have to have a signature move and I've not seen that from him yet.

Terry, I'm quite impressed with Oden. He played almost the whole game, was worn out and is still getting rebounds and points with seconds to play.

Games over, Gators win, but I've never been more nervous when we win by double digits.

This Ohio State team never quit and had a chance right to the end.

Gators certainly deserved the win this evening. They are so balanced in scoring and are excellent on the treys, not to mention their defense. Wish we could have snared some of those for our side.

I would love to see Oden come back for another year, but I have my doubts. I too think he could use another year of college ball to mature and polish his game.

I hope for you sake Oden comes back Don, but I seriously doubt he will. He's going to be a number one pick and I think could be a star in the NBA.

    Terry,

Re you comments on Oden: He still has a ways to go, but the potential is there. Give him five years in the NBA and report back!

Not only that but he will be paid very well, while serving his apprenticeship.

Don it will take a few years, the raw material is certainly there. But it takes most big men a little longer to reach their potential in the NBA. Look at the kid from UConn (Emeka Okafor) he stayed 3 years and won a NCAA title, but while a starter in the NBA he's not even come close to the level he had in college. Many if not all of the ones who went from HS really struggled, like Kwame Brown for example.
