Not much went wrong in the 1st half. Irish up 35-0, Drayk Bowen got a scoop and score. Running game is still a bit of a work in progress but CJ has been excellent.
Irish win 49-10. Purdue scored with 5 seconds left. Solid win, still a lot of work to do on the running game. As far as I can tell we had no injuries, that's important.
Quincy Porter will not play this year. On WR Quincy Porter being ruled out for the year: “I just wanted to start with obviously tough news with Quincy. He came to Notre Dame post patella surgery and it was a pretty long, tough healing process. And probably about a month ago, we had another procedure that we thought was gonna be the last thing that he needed to get him back to game-ready. “He was getting really close and had a little flare-up. Ultimately, they had an MRI this weekend, and the doctors decided that he'll have to have season-ending surgery to get his patella where it needs to go. Tough news for him. He's a great young man who has really done everything right and he's got another setback, but his mind is in the right place. He'll be back at some point here before we know it.”
