The NCAA's FBS oversight committee said Wednesday that it "does not have the authority" to overturn the result of Western Michigan's controversial loss to Michigan on Sept. 5.

The committee, however, also said that instant replay protocols "were not followed" by the Big Ten, and that had protocols been followed, "the outcome of the game would have been different."

Michigan knows its real problem was not playing well enough to prevent an end of game controversy. They obviously cleaned up their act against Oklahoma. Let’s see how the season plays out.

This game is going to be overshadowed by the circus that is Lane Kiffin!

Ole Miss are hosting LSU tomorrow for a game that’s expected to have a rowdier crowd than some editions of their annual rivalry game against Mississippi State. And the school is taking some precautions to avoid things from getting out of hand, particularly in their student section.

Ahead of the game, Ole Miss has reportedly informed students that wearing LSU gear in the students section will not be permitted and anyone found to be wearing the rival colors will be removed.

“No person wearing an opposing team’s gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section,” the school said, via Tyler Komis. “Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed.”

Pretty good game tonight in Lubbock between Houston and Texas Tech. Cougars lead at half 17-14

Miami in the process of blowing out Wake Forrest.
