Congratulations Terry, tough one to lose but that missed field goal was the killer.

Pretty impressive comeback. Texas defense really came through in the 4th quarter.

Hats off to the Horns....made the gritty 4th down plays they needed to give themselves a prayer and then answered it themselves amidst an epic Buckeye 4th qtr collapse. Can't ever remember one like that....did I ever tell you how much I hate kickers?

It's happened before...good kicker so you get all conservative and leave him a moderately (yeah, makable) long one. BTW congratulations, Terry...Texas deserved to win that one. We did not. I imagine there will be some second guessing on Woody Hayes Drive this week.

Looks like PJ Fleck’s capsized boat had 1 survivor.

My other thought after the game was...when we were up 20-3 we went conservative. Texas went extremely aggressive. Doesn't always work but it did. They executed so well on the long 4th and down plays.

Longhorns move to #1 in both polls. Georgia is #2 and the Irish move up to #3.

Buckeyes dropped 5 slots to #6.

    IU was#4 and Miami #5.

I don't think OSU should drop that far, maybe not #2 but they're better than #6. Just my opinion.

I'll be curious if Texas honors it's contract with Notre Dame for games in 2028 and 2029, gvien what Sark said in an ESPN article. Both he and Del Conte (Texas AD) have been waffling over whether or not they will keep the Irish on the scherdule.

Sarkisian's message was that these heavyweight fights should be considered a strength rather than hurting the teams that lose.

"Everybody loves those matchups," Sarkisian said. "Well, if we want to continue with those matchups, we've got to reward the teams for playing in those games ... because if they don't reward them for playing in the game, then all of us start playing FCS, [Group of] 6, and then I don't think that's the product that we want in college football."

But the CFP committee makes these games a gamble.

"We're not the NFL where it's all based on, 'What's your record? Who did you beat?'" he said. "You make the playoffs based off of opinions of others, essentially, unless you win your conference."

I did not know that you could do this with AI, although I guess I should have...but it's not funny. Arch got asked a question about it and said it was funny, now he's getting blasted. Watching what actually happened at the time, I knew Sark was going to get some criticism for blowing off Holly Rowe, just didn't see this coming.

Not surprising that Arch has quickly changed direction on his comments.

One day later, amid backlash for his reaction, Manning issued an apology on Instagram Story.

"In my press conference yesterday, I made an insensitive comment about an AI video," Manning said in his post. "There is nothing funny about it. It's easy to say I didn't mean it, but I know my words and actions were hurtful to a lot of people. I do not take that lightly and am deeply sorry for that.

"I specifically want to apologize to Holly Rowe for what she has personally had to deal with because of my comments. I have a ton of respect for her and appreciate her showing me grace in this moment. I need to do better and will be more thoughtful going forward."

Rowe said on X that she and Manning have discussed his comment and that she accepted his apology.

"Thank you Arch," Rowe posted. "I appreciate our conversation about this -- which will remain private. Apology accepted. We move forward with respect and kindness for one another."

Apparently Holly Rowe has a lot more class than Manning.
