    Anyone in the group watching these youngsters play? Alabama won a close one over New Jersey last night 6-5, the pitcher was a girl and she was super with her pitching and fielding plays.

    I've watched a few games. There are some really talented kids, some really big kids due to early growth, and some pipsqueaks. They all are living a dream. Some will peak at 12, others will go as far as their talent takes them, even as far as MLB. Trivia question: Does anyone know the first LL alum to make it to MLB? I had his baseball card years ago. Hint: He pitched for the Milwaukee Braves.

    Ohio will face Iowa at 7:00 this evening on ESPN. Winner of this game will face Nevada in the championship game.

    Nevada defeated Ohio 12-2 to win the Litlle League Championship again. They played excellent baseball and were well coached.
