As bad as the Astro's 1st half of the season has been we are still in a 3 way tie for 2nd place and only 2.5 games out of first. Crazy

Some might say there are more so-so teams than good teams. I say that there's parity among all teams with little distance between the top and the bottom. Maybe it'll stretch out as the season gets farther down the road, with the "traditional" cream rising to the top.

Tribe kinda in trouble for a few weeks. 3 of their best hitters injured in the same game. Ramirez, Martinez, and DeLauter. Rookies Bazanna and Watson stepping up a bit but it's not been enough. 6-10 over the last 16 games. Still tied with White Sox for the lead, though.

AJ Blubaugh! He continues to get better! I know the Astros bullpen is a mess but hey at least the Clear Fork kid is making us proud in Ohio!

I’ve been on the fence about this all season. I’d like to get some non biased view points here about Steven Kwan. As you all know he’s a 4 time gold glove winner and 3 time all-star for our beloved Guardians here. But with his recent struggles dating back to June 2025 and his contract is up soon, at what point do you have to say okay it’s time to move him and go in another direction? I will say the Guardians are loaded with young outfield talent and prospects. That’s why I’m okay with at least entertaining the possibility of a trade.

Re: Steven Kwan. I looked him up. Yes, he's far below his stellar 4 prior seasons. It's unfortunate in a contract season. Tough call. As an "outside" party, I'd say, let the season play out. If he doesn't recover by halfway between the All-Star game and season's end, bench him and let the chips fall when it's time for contract talk. My reasoning is, one player's worse-than-normal season shouldn't tank the team's chances to win the ALC title. Plus, there's no guarantee the White Sox will continue their surprise "torrid" (compared to last year) pace, which would help the Guardian's chances (and ability to absorb Kwan's fall-off from past seasons). Just a thought. Feel free to pass it onto management. :D
