The Tide got eliminated by a gem from Najaree Canady, the million dollar Stanford transfer to Tech. The Longhorns beat the other UT and now we have a rematch of Tech vs Texas for the National Championhip.

Last year the Longhorns beat a worn out Canady in the 3rd game. I wonder if Tech has enough depth this year to avoid the dame.

Longhorns are on to the Super Regional for the first time in a couple of years. They beat UCSB Gaucho's to make it. This is a team who has power, pitching and depth, a good shot at the Natty..

You better get there... you were gifted a breeze regional, and I don't see Oregon as much of a threat to slow ya down either.
Best thing that could happen to the Horns - the Aggies were eliminated. :p

Longhorns win the WCWS, back to back Nat'l Championships. 4th trip to the finals in the last 5 years.

Longhorn baseball could win it all as well, that would be quite the feat if both softball and baseball win Nat'l Titles. Of course baseball has win the Super Regional and make it to Omaha.

Longhorn athletics really have become very competitive for Championships.

    Football ....could win it
M.Basketball...Sean Miller has a great roster for 26-27...who knows.
    W. Basketball...has a national championship type program even though they haven't won it.
    Baseball...could win
    Softball ...has won
    Swimming...has won
    Volleyball...has won
    Rowing...yes Rowing...has won.
    Soccer...a ways to go.
Golf ..a championship program on both men and womens.
Not sure about Tennis or Track and Field.

Um... can't we all say that? ;)

As far as baseball goes, with UCLA and Ga Tech out I'd say your odds are as good as they will get.
