Yeah, I'm gonna gloat. Up 2-0 on L$U in their house with a chance for a sweep tomorrow. SUCK IT KITTIES!
Well... The Aggies seem to be hitting another gear with a series win in Gainesville this weekend. Some adjustments to the rotation seem to have really calmed the pitching woes down. Sdao still having issues on Fridays but otherwise the staff has been really good. The offense has been stupid good. If you've never heard of freshman Jorian Wilson ... get ready cuz you will soon. https://x.com/BarstoolTexasAM/status/2048493858955124820?s=20
Longhorns are #3 in the SEC, Georgia and A&M slightly ahead of them. Baseball America has the Longhorns at #3 behind UCLA and UNC.
A&M's remaining schedule is a bit daunting to expect a first place finish: #8 Auburn this weekend, at 17 Ole Miss, and at home against #10 Miss St. I feel good about 5-4 getting the Ags a top 8 seed which is the real goal.
Hey...June 12th is rapidly approaching...who wants to come to the Motherland for the weekend?.....Got Runzas...
This might be a misprint, but looks like the Buckeyes defeated the Huskers here this evening with frigid conditions for fans, winning 7-4.
Not a misprint here though, Texas and Texas A&M both lost at home today. Aggies got steam rolled by Auburn. But in the overall of who gets to host it de
well... two weeks ago I thought the Aggies were in good position to secure a top 8 seed. And they proceeded to fall on their faces. The offense has taken some losses with a slew of injuries that have sidelined the middle infield. The replacements have performed well, but they were #2's for a reason. There's still a chance with a sweep of Miss St this weekend and a decent run in the SEC tourney, but with our 2 starter rotation... that seems to be a tall order. I feel good about them being a regional host... I'm sure they'll pair us up with that school in Austin if we end up as a 9-16 seed. The committee loves to do crap like that...
