This is for Scott, a good post to start the 2026 conversation. Will it soften his feelings about the portal? I guess it remains to be seen.
Thanks for the topic Sid, sorry I'm a bit of a negative Nancy. Everything I've seen says this kid is a stallion with the bat and the Aggies are fortunate to get him.
Perfect game say LSU is the pre-season #1. Last year it was A&M, but the season went downhill fast for the Aggies.
Yeah, injuries decimated the Aggie lineup last year. They were a shadow of the firepower they were supposed to have. So far the big guns are set to return this year... I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Ralph!...see ya in Omaha in June...you bring the Oranges and I'll supply the Titos...and Scottie will buy Runzas! Serious NOTE: I have PLENTY of room at my house that's 47 mins from the stadium...all ya gotta do is laugh at my jokes, and make sure you put the seat down (momma rules)...other than that, feel free to spend $450 plus per night in Omaha...
The Aggies are healthy, unlike last season and this guy is picking up where he left off 2024 (he missed most of 2025) and looking good! "">
LOL... was too excited to see Sorrell back and kinda forgot. Thx Terry. BTW... he SMOKED a second dinger last night... "
I saw an article where a Seton Hall player hit a 2 run HR and while running to 1st he turned to his dugout and did a hop and a wave, but when he landed he turned his ankle severely and is done for the season. Sometimes it's better to just run the bases and shake hands in the dugout. I feel bad for the kid though.
Wow, that sux, but as you said... just touch em all, then celebrate. Did you see that kid from Baylor hit 3 grand salamie's in their first game?
Oh I can't stand it. I gotta have one sport. I subscribed to ESPN so I can watch college baseball. I have to be educated on standings when I swing up to see AJ.
Longhorns off to a 2-0 start against UC Davis and playing game 3 right now. Longhorns will be at Daikin Park (Astros home field) for the "College Classic" along with Baylor, Ohio State and Costal Carolina the 27th through the 1st of March.
I always thought softball had a run rule, down by 10 or more runs and the game is over? But it's a 5 inning rule instead....OU scored 34 runs in 5 innings!!! No. 4 Oklahoma hit two grand slams in one inning during a 34-0 softball rout of Texas-El Paso that came within one run of tying the Sooners' record for runs in a game. The Sooners (8-1), who had 25 hits in the game, wasted no time in the first inning as the first eight batters reached base en route to an 8-0 lead. In the third inning, Tia Milloy and Gabbie Garcia each hit grand slams as Oklahoma added 12 more runs. Oklahoma, which has blasted 38 home runs in its nine games this season, then tacked on 14 runs more in their final time at-bat as the game was called after five innings.
Yeah, it's similar to baseball. It takes effect after 5, where as baseball usually takes effect after 7.
