I'm not an alum but my dad was. As a young kid, I loved Purdue and hated Notre Dame. Obviously, that changed. I still love Purdue and cheer for them except when they're playing ND. I didn't get to see the game.

Don, much needed win for this group but I'm having a hard time getting excited because I'm afraid of being left at the altar once again and after the way football season ended and the disappointment of the recent game with you know who, I'm not quite ready to have my emotions stomped again.....maybe if we see some consistency and a nice run in the conference tourney I'll recover......love to see it happen

Longhorn women got their asses kicked at Vanderbilt last night and Vic Schafer who can't seem to keep his mouth shut, called his team soft and had no heart. That's a real moral builder isn't it!!

Helluva game tonight in Tucson between Tech and BDR's Wildcats. Tech got the win in OT. I haven't really watched the B12 teams, but JT Toppin is a terrific player for Tech.

Another awesome game, this one on the women's side. South Carolina beat LSU for the 18th straight time and Dawn Staley got her 500th win at USC. It was very tough and tight game the whole way. In the end it came down to free throws, and LSU missed way too many to expect to win a tight contest.

Dunno...it was one of the special event deals called the Nashville Hoops Showdown in Nashville. Kids played well without one of our best offensive threats, but went ice cold late and lost a close one.....rinse and repeat. My guess it's gonna take a helluva of a conference tourney run for these kids to make the dance. Diebler officially on the hot seat. I'm a fan but they're gonna have to show something more at some point

Thanks for the response Buckeye Terry to Terry. Just read this morning that the news re Mobley has been slightly revised, hopefully will be back by tournament time? We just do not have enough bench strength to compete this season,

We'll have little chance of accomplishing much with Mobley sidelined tho I do like Chatman's offensive game, he can certainly score the ball, not sure about his ability to defend. We'll need somebody else off the bench to step up maybe Puff Johnson can provide some quality minutes?
