I couldn't watch ND/UCONN as I just knew iit was going to be a Christians vs Lions game. And that's what the box score said, a complete beat down by UCONN. This team is just not a good team right now and they are going to struggle to keep their heads above water the rest of the season.
Men's basketball traveled to UNC and got soundly beaten. Both the men's and womne's teams are just not very good this year. I don't expect either will make the NCAA's.
Irish women get a hard fought home win over Miami. Hildalgo had her type of game 27 points and 10 steals. The only thing she can't do at a high level is shoot 3's. She's 20% at best. If she could shoot threes oh my .
Tim it seems like there has always been some position we struggled to recruit. I can remember when we couldn't re recruit DBs. We've struggled to recruit WR and QB . CJ Carr was our first in awhile.
Not that anybody cares, but ND Hockey seems to have hit rock bottom. They are 0-13 in Big 10 play and while I don't know of course, but is there a win left on the schedule? It doesn't seem that long ago that we were a pretty good program. Now we are the bottom of the league.
Weather permitting, Irish basketball host's Boston College tonight and the women host Clemson on Sunday. Polar Vortex likely to keep the crowd pretty small.
Irish men got a hard fought win over BC. They were down 13 at the half and finally got hot in the 2nd half with defense and shots began to fall. It got more than a little chippy at the end, with Tout flopping like a Dookie to get a T and we had a 4 point turnaround. BC like us is a mediocre team sp while it's great to get the win but I'm not sure what it means in the overall scheme of the season.
