Early and only down 3-0 and go for it on 4th down in your own territory...not sure about that and then they don't make it.

The Dan Campbell virus infected Alabama.

IU makes them pay and a great throw and catch for a TD...10-0 IU

That was one of the dumbest calls I’ve ever seen. DeBoer just possibly took us out of this game.

IU looks like the better team in all phases. If you went by HS recruit rankings the Tide have a much better roster, but they aren't playing like it. 17-0 IU at the half.

Hoosiers with a dominant first half. They are a beast once they get their running game going.

Alabama came back against OU, not sure they can against IU.

Me either. Our only hope is score, stop IU, then score again. At least one of those scores has to be a TD. Then we would be back in the game. If the doesn’t happen in the first 3 possessions in the 2nd half we are done. Unless Indiana just falls apart. DeBoer put us in a hole when he went for it on 4th down on own 30 yard line

Yep. Indiana has broken apart Alabama’s defense and now Simpson out of the game.

Indiana has played a good game. No mistakes and long sustained drives, but our coach contributed a lot to this loss. After going for it on 4th down on our own 30, he decides to kick a field goal from the 5 yard line when we’re behind by 24.

I’ve said before that I didn’t think Alabama was a championship level team but this is embarrassing.

I could not recall Alabama ever losing by 35 points or more so I asked Gemini and they came up with this.

    1948Vanderbilt47–0
    1910Georgia Tech36–0

Pat Coogan who played 4 years at ND and started the NC game last year was the Offensive MVP of the Rose Bowl. Listening to his acceptance speech I think his ND career is in the rearview mirror and he's a Hoosier for life now. I'm glad to see him have success and wish him only the best. I wish he'd been with us this year, we could have used his leadership and with the injuries on the OL he'd have gotten to play a lot this year.
