Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak won the Grant Thornton Invitational, a LPGA/PGA team event. It's pretty neat to watch these teams. Most of the top LPGA players ae involved while the PGA players are mostly not the big stars

Next up is the also very fun PNC Championship

he PNC Championship provides the unique chance to see 20 Major Champions team up with a member of their family and play the game they truly love — together. This is where golf connects family.

    As always an interesting field.

The 20-team line up is now complete with major champions Stewart Cink, Tom Lehman, Davis Love III and Nick Price claiming the last four places for the 2025 PNC Championship taking place Dec. 18-21, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes.

The field contains eight former world number ones and six past champions, including reigning champion and record six-time winner, Bernhard Langer. The 20 professionals have won more than 40 Majors titles, over 900 international titles and eight former world number ones. The only player making his debut this year is 41-year-old Gary Woodland, who returned to professional golf early last year after undergoing successful surgery for a brain tumor in September 2023. He will be partnering with his father, Dan.

This year’s field includes three women, all returning from the 2024 event. Nelly Korda is playing with her dad Petr, while Annika Sorenstam will play with her son, established fan-favorite, Will McGee. Also in the field is Steve Stricker’s talented daughter Izzi Stricker. A sophomore at University of Wisconsin, Izzi is arriving in top form having won both the Wisconsin Women’s Amateur Championship and Wisconsin Women’s Match Play Championship this year.

I enjoy watching the PNC. This year without Tiger and Chaley getting most of the coverage it should be interesting to watch.

This OPTUM Golf Challenge is actually pretty fun to watch.
    Long Drive
    Short Game
Team Golf...4 guys hitting alt shots speed to complete the hole is key.

Didn't watch any of it, but Kuch and Kid won it!

The PNC Championship concluded what frequently is called the silly season, but silliness gave way to seriously impressive, the performance delivered by the winners, Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron on Sunday.

The Kuchars took a two-stroke lead into the second and final round at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, played the first seven holes in eight under in the two-man scramble format and cruised to a record seven-stroke victory.

    I’ve always liked Kuchar.
