ND to skip the bowl game

    Team decision and I 100% support this. The ratings system was a farce. There's no point in given ABC/ESPN ND's massive travel and TV fan base revenue.

    I am looking forward to the day the Gators can even be in the discussion again.

    I understand taking a stand. I think they may have benefited from a little cooling off period, but like I said in the other thread, they are big boys and get to make these decisions.

    The bowls and ESPN make all the money from ND participating. I think this is the right call.

    The top players like Love and Price would opt out. In effect a non CFP bowl game is nothing more than a second team scrimmage. ND would probably generate decent ratings for one of these games but why help ESPN get any ratings? Screw them.
