Who knows if the extra time would have made the difference. Plus Law's missing the layup was costly. BUT there is no way 1.1 seconds elapsed on the out of bounds. Tough loss.

Tough loss indeed....Ags gave them everything they wanted and more. Great, great effort by the Aggies. I agree Sid, I don't know if it would have made any difference at all, but it sure as hell made it more difficult. No question some time should have been taken off, but I don't know how they got 1.1 seconds.

I know Scott and the Aggie fans are understandably sick about it, but they had a helluva good season and should rightfully be quite proud of those kids. Great crowd, great game. Congrats to all....

All great things come to an end sometime... unfortunately for a very special group of players it was a few games early.

I'm so proud of those guys. For all the talk of how well we play, when you look at each individual you see that it's not a collection of McDonald's AA's out there.
Just a bunch of guys that believe in each other and what their coach tells them . They never give up...

Tonight it wasn't quite enough, but by golly I can still smile when somebody mentions Aggie basketball!

Sorry Scott. I was hoping that the Aggies and Tennessee would both advance and play each other in the Elite 8. Respectable showing though... very respectable showing.

I thought they got screwed too. This morning on Fox Sports radio they talked about that play. Apparently the refs determined that the ball wasn't out of bounds by rule until it had bounced off the table, and not when it crossed the plane.

The Aggies really came to play last night. It was a lot of fun to watch.

Bob, I heard the same thing this morning on another program. I guess it proves that the refs knew what they were doing. It also explains why the A&M coach did not protest at the time. That makes my title for this topic irrelevent.

Sid, I stand corrected as well....as was explained, given that the ball bounced in bounds, the clock continues to run until it is touched out of play. Good call....

We, myself included, tend to be too quick to criticize when in fact in the vast majority of instances they do a darn good job under the most difficult of circumstances.
