OMG! Fielding hooks a chip shot and Indiana has a shot to run out the clock.

And the Dukies are up 20-10 with 5 minutes left. The ACC is a trash conference.

Mendoza with a Heisman pass and the sand in the hourglass is nearly gone.

That pass likely cemented Mendoza as the Heisman winner.

Unlike that year that Michigan State ruined the Buckeye undefeated season and their chance at a NC, this loss just means they'll be the #2 seed instead of the #1 seed.

Best game of the day. I was so wrong about IU it's not even funny. As I said as painful as this loss is for the Buckeyes, it just means they are #2 in the final rankings and will still get a bye week to recover and prepare for their next game.

Well, Oregon was the B10 champion last year but the only thing people remember is who won the NC. Buckeyes will be likely a 3 or 4 seed and now get time to regroup and get healthy. They have the talent to repeat.

Congrats to the Hoosiers! They deserved the win and they are worthy champions. They are legit title contenders. This Hoosiers team is much more stout at the LOS, tough, gritty, disciplined and incredibly well-coached. Amazing what Cignetti has done.....many doubters last year, tho I watched them all season and was not one, this year's version is playing like the best team in the country. Tough to have 3rd and 1 twice in the deep red zone and come away with nada.....all credit to IU

It was a heavyweight battle between two great defenses. We just happened to come out on top. If we would play again, the score easily could be reversed. It's unfortunate one team had to lose. Definitely a game for the ages that will be talked about for many years to come.

Congratulations, Sid. IU has silenced the non-believers. IU should certainly be the #1 seed. I think we drop a bit. The team I would most not like to play right now might be Georgia. I'd put them at #2.

If you like offensive shootouts, this wasn't the game for you. But, if you enjoy watching great defenses dominating play this was a beauty. It's been too easy for the Bucks all season. Their playbook showed little imagination. 4th and 1 from the 4 and you run a QB sneak against a D that's been stuffing you all night? Mendosa is a real talent and he knew when not to be a hero and throw the ball away. Pro scouts will like that. But what really impressed me most about the Hoosiers was their WRs. Every big completion was to a WR who had a DB right next to him. The OSU DBs were almost always in position and yet the Indiana receivers outfought them for the ball.
If they play again, OSU has got to show some creativity in their offense. They can't out talent Indiana. That can't out physical them. They're going to have to show imagination especially in the red zone and on 3rd downs. these teams are pretty close. The game really came down to a missed short range FG.

Thanks, Stu. Since there's no 1A seed, Ohio State has to be seeded #2. Who deserves to be seeded above them? No one.

No sir. My days of traveling for big games are behind me. Now I just stay at the Baker Inn and watch from my easy chair on their big screen TV.

Of course, I'm not sure ND is in. I guess we'll know soon. Whoever it is, I'll be watching.
