Matt Campbell the new name at Penn State, he's been rumored for a long time that he's a Big 10 coach. But he's always maintained that he loves it at Iowa State, sort of like Frenzz likes it at Iowa. But I imagine Penn State is pretty desperate and probably can outspend Iowa State at everything.

Not ideal, but many including players/alums are very supportive. Currently it seems as if they're split about 50/50 on Smith. Many seemed resigned to him, tho Campbell and Diaz still out there. However, they are all 100% in favor of lynching the AD Kraft over his handling of the process....

Big get for Day given the departure of Hartline and the big $$$$ being thrown at the kid by USC and Oregon. People are talking about him like he's the 2nd coming of JJ....newsflash, at least in my opinion, he ain't that yet, but could be special. Big tall rangy kid, 6'5" - 200 w/ massive catch radius, great hands, great top end speed, but needs to spend the winter in the weight room to put on a few lbs/upper body strength. People forget when JJ got to campus he was 6'3" 230 specimen and could bully DB's. This kid not quite yet. Not even sure he starts next year, but do expect him to get on the field.

Campbell looks like a done deal. He has a lot of work ahead as he can fit PSU’s entire recruiting class into a Ford Focus.

In a game virtually nobody cares about, Miami vs W. Michigan for the MAC Championship, I just became aware that the Miami QB, Dequan Finn, quit the team early Nov so he could concentrate on prep for the NFL. What a douche.

Miami is the only team in the top 25 who lost to two unranked teams. I'm calling KFC and getting ready to go a chicken sacrifice over here because all I want is in the dance. I honestly don't care who the Irish play. This team had a youth problem and a senior leadership problem early on in the year and those were their only weaknesses. They've fixed those issues. Denbrock took the gloves off of Carr and the deep/intermediate passing game, which leaves teams horribly exposed to our stable of RBs. Ash finally threw caution to the wind and let our 4 man coverage studs just get in people's masks and run with them. I think our DL has been the softest part of the team and even they've shown improvement in recent weeks.

Well Tech is up 13-7 after 1 half. One of the worst calls I've seen this year was on the Tech TD. Guy catches the ball inbounds and crosses the goal line before going out of bounds. The ref calls him out at the 1, I mean he was no where near the sideline at the 1 yard line. Fortunately we have replay.

oooof, what a horrible play call on 4th and 2 by Tech. Kick the FG or do a straight up run play, BYU hasn't stopped your run much in this game.

Game over for BYU, they've become a turnover machine in the 2nd half. and are down 31-7 with Texas Tech getting another turnover.

This takes them out of the CFP. It will for sure move Miami up to #11, That is bad news for the Irish as that brings back the argument that Miami beat us in August. That since then Miami has lost to 2 unranked teams will go by the wayside. oh well.

ND's only hope is that Georgia beats Alabama soundly, like they did Texas. Then the Tide might drop to #11 and ND and Miami can be 9 and 10.

The whole committee is full of nonsense. I could make sound data based arguments for A&M being ahead of the 3 ahead of us, but it ain't doing any good. ND has a good argument to be in, but those same guys are looking at you too ..

Committee is now on the clock to decide what to do with ND, Miami and Alabama.

I guess Tulane and James Madison are now the 11th and 12th seeds no matter where they are ranked in the final ranking, both are going to be outside the top 20, Tulane might be between 15-20 but not JMU.
