Thanks Bobda, it has been a long time coming. Glad for Coach Day and the players winning the gold pants.

Solid win by the Buckeyes. They look like the most complete team in college football.

Went pretty much as I'd expected/hoped. Tough duty for a young, inexperienced QB to do much against that defense, esp without their biggest weapons. I think I saw M had 35 yards of total offense in the 2nd half, then our OL fininshed the game. Whole team and staff stayed pretty much true to form, business like, disciplined and focused.

Happy for Coach Day and these upperclassman, that monkey can get really heavy. Now it's gone...perhaps my favorite moment of all day was at the post-game presser was when Day was asked how he'd like to comment on all the shhh-tuff written and said about him re: this game, he commented he was happy for the players, coaches, his family and Buckeye Nation, but just wanted to win with humility. Classy moment, glad he's our guy.....on to Indy

I was very pleased with our patience and game plan. Smith and Tate played better than I expected. Offensive line tremendous in the second half. Great performance by our freshman running back and yardage gained. Unfortunately the next game is going to require at least one team to be undefeated!

O’Keefe, why are you trying to ruin this brief moment of harmony between the SB Buckeyes and the solitary SB Wolverine on this thread?

Precisely, that's a perfect example. I for one am thrilled Coach Day has learned from his mistakes and makes an effort on a big stage to act with some grace and humility. You see some old coaches well into their 80's who have not and prefer the sarcastic class clown routine ;)

Your not saying that Conner Stallions was working the communications at the Big House are you?:D

It was your personal system that failed. Anyone who has driven on the Ohio Turnpike realize that the cheap ass Buckeyes probably bought some second hand East German communications system but failed to have anyone on staff fluent in German to read the operators manual

I read somewhere that the communications systems were provided by an outside vendor. Arranged for by the NCAA I assumed...and not either school.

Not like there should be any reason for any visiting team to be suspicious of them regarding anything related to communications between the sideline and the players tho....heaven forbid :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I wasn't arguing that there was no excuse to raise eyebrows. Was just pointing out that apparently it wasn't OUR crappy equipment.

It was likely Day’s dripping black hair dye that shorted out the electricity.

I feel about X week like I do about Christmas, that I'm sorry it happens only once a year. However, I recognize that the combatants probably need a full year to come up with their gems.

Also, normally I'd consider that trying to do verbal battle with Bobda is like bringing a knife to a gunfight, but the TDS guys (Team Down South) are fully capable of holding up their side, thus leveling out the skirmish.

I appreciate that while the resident combatants are devilishly clever, they never stoop below the established hard deck.
