I have pretty well resigned myself to the fact neither of our top two receivers will be available for the Michigan game. Sad state of events but you have to play with the players you have and win or lose. Sayin was pretty effective throwing to out tight end. Michigan not have their top back puts them in a similar position. GO BUCKS!
I'm trying stay optimistic, I think they'll both play. I think, for a variety of reasons, Day has been holding them out as an abundance of caution. I'm not expecting 100% from either, but either and certainly both can impact the structure of the game without touching the ball. I'm happy for X to retrieve whomever they want from their injury list if we can have our two WR. Our #6 WR was the leading receiver from the WR room yesterday with 2 catches for 13 yards. We are decidedly different creature without those two in the lineup and not one I hope to see in the post-season. Also not something I want to see next Saturday is the snow that is currently forecast.
