Arizona already beat Florida in basketball this season. Good game, too.

Bill was the only person to pick Arizona beating Cincinnati this week in the football contest. I'm such a homer that I regularly choose Arizona when they're a dog, but Cincy has a good team this season and I saw so little chance in Arizona beating them I chose the Bearcats. I am chagrined.

Heck of a game in Tuscaloosa, Sooners win with incredible defense. It leaves A&M as the only unbeaten team in the SEC, with the Tide, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas as 1 loss teams. Either UGA or Texas will get a 2nd loss tonight. Alabama has a tie breaker over UGA, not sure about Ole Miss or Texas. They have 1 more SEC game, vs Auburn at Auburn so they should finish with 1 loss and then the tie breakers will determine the SEC Champ game participants.

As kp has noted all year, no running game for Alabama and Ty Simpson had great stats, much better than Mateer's and still couldn't get it done. It was just too tough against the OU defnese

You have to figure the Heisman is coming down to Mendoza and Sayin.

So what happens in the next release. How far will Alabama drop? How far will OU jump up? Will Alabama fall to '#8? Will OU jump over Notre Dame? It's going to be dicey. Even more so if Texas upsets UGA.

I haven't watched a game yet, and thank the Lord I was too busy to start now.
2nd half belongs to the Ags so ya better bury em good if ya want to win.

Texas ...too many penalties and Arch not esp sharp throwing the ball. We're lucky to only be down by 11 points.

After a TD drive where UGA went for it on 4th down twice and scored, they executed a perfect onside kick. They are likely to score again now and that will be a fork in Bevo's flank. Texas is done barring some sort of miracle.

I picked Texas in our contest thinking that they were starting to peak. Georgia physically beat the crap out of them which I definitely did not forsee.

Yeah Terry, no running game hurt but 3 turnovers and a missed short field goal did us in. If you looked at the stats you would think Alabama won by 3 touchdowns. We even had more yards on the ground than Oklahoma, turnovers will kill you. Alabama is a pretty good team but only pretty good. We have beaten a lot of very good teams on the back of a very good quarterback and a good defense. We may make the SECCG and we may even make the playoffs but this is not a National Championship caliber team.

Yeah I couldn't help but wonder how the Tide managed to lose with all the offensive stats they put up but OU just killed them with their defense and forcing turnovers.

I fear that the ESPN prediction is going to hold true. Irish drop a slot.

    1. OSU
    2. IU
    3. A&M
    4. UGA
    5. Texas Tech
    6. Ole Miss
    7. Oregon
    8. OU
    9. Alabama
    10. ND
    11. BYU
    12. Utah

Given the Alabama schedule and the OU schedule it's hard to argue against OU jumping the Irish and the Tide staying ahead of us.

Our turnovers were on our end of the field. OU didn’t have to go far to score.

Turnovers are bad, but add in a defensive score and it's usually deadly.

I agree the ground game came to life last night with multiple backs. I hope this continues as there are timew we will need that weapon.

AP Poll has 6 of the top 12 SEC teams, 5 in top10, 3 in the top 5.

    Dropped the Tide to #10.
