Life is good when you have the consensus #1 team, and you can still hand-wring like a bunch of Nancys! :D

Totally agree, Scott. Their #1 ranked team has 2 NFL receivers, a potential NFL QB, a defense and offensive line stocked with NFL prospects and their this week’s whine selection is “Our Running Backs Aren’t Averaging 7.8 Yards Per Carry”.

My LSU golfing buddy sent me an article on the Aggies getting caught in fake injury scam vs Arkansas and became the first SEC team to be fined 50K for it.:D:rolleyes:

I think a good case can be made for the Buckeyes and Ryan Day being the top coach/program in college right now.

One guys take on the Coaching Carousel that is upcoming.

Especially when you consider that churn that will happen at the lower P4 schools and G5 schools when their coaches get scooped up by bigger P4 schools.

    OPEN

    B1G - Penn State; UCLA
    Big 12 - OK State
    SEC - Arkansas; Florida

    COULD OPEN via firing
ACC - Cal (Justin Wilcox); FSU (Mike Norvell); NC State (Dave Doeren); UNC (Bill Belichick)
B1G - Maryland (Mike Locksley); Michigan (Sherrone Moore); Michigan State (Johnathan Smith); Southern Cal (Lincoln Riley); Wisconsin (Luke Fickell)
    Big 12 -
SEC - Auburn (Hugh Freeze), Kentucky (Mark Stoops), LSU (Brian Kelly); South Carolina (Shane Beamer)

COULD OPEN via coach hired away
ACC - GA Tech (Brent Key); Syracuse (Fran Brown)
B1G - Minnesota (PJ Fleck); Nebraska (Matt Rhule)
Big 12 - ASU (Kenny Dillingham); Iowa State (Matt Campbell); Utah (Kyle Whittingham)

I see that Ogeron, and Fisher are ready to jump back in. They must have spent their buyout money.

Supposedly, Florida has offered Kiffin the job. $13M/yr is mentioned. He is considering it and is even trying to keep the Ole Miss players on task with the distraction.

I saw where he was having a team meeting to address that, the one thing he could tell them is that he's committed to Ole Miss and will not be leaving. But I doubt if the does that, he'll say something like it's just the atmosphere around successful programs and just ignore it. Liar.

Well it didn;t take long for the Hoosiers to intercept a pass and score in the opening minutes!

What I read was more equivocal. I think he is trying to walk a tightrope of keeping the team focused with being realistic about the current situation. With the current transfer portal situation, players may understand.

Ole Miss just scored again and are pretty much having their way with the Sooners. 22-10. OU had the #1 defense in the country and don't look like it so far today.

IU having their way with UCLA...the cinderella run ends in Bloomington.

Stupid decision by Ole Miss to go for it on 4th down backed up in their own redzone backfires and OU gets the ball in the redzone, but they go now where and now have to kick a FG. Ole Miss defense is flying around and just stuffing the Sooners.
