Yup. Lamar Bo Jackson. Four star recruit from Cleveland (Villa Angela-St. Joseph). No relation to Bo Jackson the NFL star. "Bo" has been his nickname. Nick (San Diego Kid) watched him play HS football against our local team. (60-0 loss for us). He ran for 197 yards and 3 TD's in the first half. Nick was really happy that he picked Ohio State.
DeShaun Foster....out at UCLA Brent Pry ....out at Va.Tech Texas A&M into the top 10 Texas falls a slot but still in the top 10. Brian Kelly gets testy with reporters questions in the post game...I've seen that before. Marcus Freeman says there's nothing wrong with the defense or the play caller, they just have to execute better. Many Irish fans want Chris Ash fired, now not in 2 weeks or the end of the season.
-Sigh- Why do I have to be reminded of the very small idiot wing of ND fans. They can't and don't think. They just knee jerk react. Their entire vocabulary consists of two words: Fire him! Idiots! They're not worth our attention. P.S. ND is one of the only upper tier teams in the country who didn't open its schedule with cupcakes. Who knew how improved Miami and Texas A&M would be? Both are in the top ten after razor-thin wins over a reloading ND team with an untested defensive front after losing most of its "killer" front 7 - with strong senior leadership - from last season. Of course we have much work to do. Yes, we need to improve our defensive play. It's a long season. I believe we'll get better week to week.
"Like the two-time All-American at Auburn, this Jackson also is a multisport athlete, starring in baseball and track and field outside of football at Villa Angela-St. Joseph." Bo knows: RB Jackson joins Buckeyes' No. 1 class
Not many 2 sport athletes any more. Charlie Ward Drew Henson Jeff Samardzja Kirk Gibson Julius Peppers Jordan Faison ..wr and plays lacrosse
We were meeting friends at Hollywood Bowl to see Chicago on a fireworks night, Sid. I would have gladly shown up late since Christopher Cross was the opening act, but really, the tailgate outside the Bowl in the park beforehand is an integral part of the experience. I wanted to see Rich Rod lose anyway, so it worked out .
Wow! Great night! Your priorities clearly are in proper order. I didn't know RichRod was back at West Virginia.
I knew there was a "pregame" altercation between LSU/Fla but these things are usually boys will be boys and no consequences. But I guess this Gator coach crossed the line although I can't find what he did or said. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Florida Gators. On Tuesday night, the SEC announced that Florida associate head coach and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke has been suspended for the next three games. This is due to his role in a pregame altercation with LSU this past Saturday. It's unclear what was exactly said that led to this suspension. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey made it clear that Juluke's behavior was "unacceptable," which is why he's on the shelf for the next three games.
