My nephew whose is a better than scratch golfer went on a guys trip to Pine Valley, they played 2 rounds one from the 'Members" Tee's and he shot a 66. Then they moved back to the Pro Tee's and he shot an 83!! He's played Pine Valley 5 or 6 times and say's it's all that it's cracked up to be.

The PGA Tour returns to Doral next season. The event called the Miami Championship will be a tour Signature Event meaning a purse of $20 million and a strong field.

    Blue Monster back in play!!

Also I learned today that Tiger Woods has been dating a lady named Vanessa Trump who is the ex-wife of DonJr. She's 47 and IMHO a pretty hot looking woman.

Oh yeah and she's rich on her on right.

She inherited millions from her father's investment in marinara sauce company Rao's
Vanessa's father, Charles, was close friends with the late Rao’s owner Frank Pellegrino Sr. and Ron Straci, a lawyer who founded and co-owned Rao’s Speciality Foods, which has found success from its famous marinara sauce and exclusive restaurant.

Before his death, he invested over $1 million into the company, per Page Six, and controlled 30 percent of the brand.

Rao's later sold for $415 million, according to the outlet, leading Vanessa to inherit millions after Charles' death.

Russel Henley is leading by 2 at 8 under, JT had a good opening round at -6 and Scottie currently sits at -4 with a few holes to play. Robert MacIntyre is also at -6. Not likely we'll see anybody run away with this tourney

Strong finish by both Scottie and Russell Henley birdied 18 to get to -9 and Scottie birdied 17 and 18 to get to -7. The lowest combined scoring at East Lake ever in the FedEx Cup. Greens were soft and that always makes it a scoring fest.

One thing for sure, Scottie is not going to win the FedEx Cup.

Tommy Fleetwood is looking like the winner, if he can hold on for the final 5 holes. He has a 3 shot lead.

Keegan Bradley has made a good case for being the playing Captain for the Ryder Cup.

Fleetwood wins. He seems like a good guy.

Not being any kind of expert, but it would seem to me that if you're gonna be the Captain you have too many important things to do and decisions to make and encouragement and advice to give to be playing in the thing.

It's a high risk/reward for Bradley. If he plays well and the US wins he's a hero, if he plays poorly and the US barely wins or the unthinkable, they lose....he'll never live it down.

Personally I'd agree with you Stu and if I were Keegan I'd not attempt being the playing Captain.

IF I were he, I'd pick the rest of the team and then ask thek through a secret ballot whether they want him to play or just captain. He probably wants to play and this gives him a reason to play.

On another note, Canadian Brooke Henderson won what I think is the Women's Canadian Open. She's one of my favorite players, hard not to like her all out swing.
