Think about it, Kyle. Isn't that a form of parity? Everyone is unrecognizable.

Scottish Open this weekend. Good field as the players get ready for The Open in Portrush.

Scheffler is at -3, 3 shots off the lead and Rory at -2. Top American is Jake Knapp who is tied for the lead.

Women are in France for the Evian Open, a Major. 5 Tied for the lead at -6 with American Andrea Lee in that group and Nelly Korda is 2 shots back at -4. Leona Maguire of Ireland also at -6 and she has a hole in one!!

Rory and some dude named Chris Gotterup are leading the Scottish Open.

While back home in South Lake Tahoe, at the American Century Challenge a guy named Taylor Twellman is leading. Annika is in the top 5, Steph Curry is 10th. It's a fun watch.

Well Chris Gotterup stared down Rory and won the Scottish Open.

And it turns out that the 54 hole leader at the American Century is a guy my nephew Brian knows, Taylor Twellman. He's dropped back to #2 so far today though. Always a fun tournament to watch.

On to Portrush in Northern Ireland for the final major of the year. When it was played a few years ago for the 1st time in about 70 years, the media/fans wanted native son Rory McIlroy to win it. Instead it was the Irishman from the Republic of Ireland, Shane Lowery who took home the cup. Rory had a miserable tourney, too much pressure.

This year Rory is still the "sentimental' favorite but Scottie is the actual favorite. Although I'm not sure why, it doesn't seem like to me that British Open courses are the type that he can win on, although he played well at the Scottish Open with a top 10 finish.

Phil had his best start in about 10 years and sits at -1. Rory is also at -1 and Rickie Fowler sits at -2.

It's not The Open unless there is miserable weather to test the players!!!:rolleyes:

Matthew Fitzpatrick is the current leader at -10 and Scottie is in a group tied for 2nd at -8.

The year my nephew made it to the US Am finals Fitzpatrick was the kid who won it. Nephew shot 150 and didn't make the cut to go to match play. Other people who were in that tourney are Xander, JT, Scottie, Bryson, Wyndham Clark, Will Zalatoris.

Well I didn't think Scottie would play that well in this tough Links course, but good thing he doesn't listen to me...he's -10 and with a 1 shot lead over Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Bryson shot a 65 today and made the cut, Phil made the cut, 5 americans are in the top 10, Scottie, Brian Harman, Chris Gotterup who just won in Scotland, Harris English and Tony Finau.

JT and Rickie Fowler also made the cut, and unlike 2019 Rory also made the cut and sits at -3. Will take some great scoring for him to win but at least he's playing the weekend.

Sheffler is having a Tiger Woods-like season.

2 majors this year, leads the Fedex Cup, just needs to be a part of a winning Ryder Cup team and win the FedEx Cup.

Dont remember the number, 1,179 or 1,197?, but the number of days between his first and fourth major is exactly the same as Tiger Woods. I heard it today while watching the tournament. At times it was hard to take my eyes off the beautiful background.

I was so impressed with his performance. No matter what type of course, his game just gets the ball in the hole with masterful skill. While all the other players seemed to be under pressure in the final round he was just playing another calm, controlled 18. It's a lovely Irish course. Stopped by and had lunch there and got to see a few of the holes near the clubhouse. Wish I had had my clubs and legs.
Scottie seems to have the same intimidation of his opponents as Tiger did. He's awful hard to beat most of the times.

It was a very calm Open, weather-wise. No wind, no rain. A little unusual.
