    His legacy will be complicated, but personally I liked him. RIP.

    He was the epitome of kindness and always answered the WWJD? question in the affirmative. Because of that, I also liked him. Terry is correct that his legacy will be complicated because of the aforegoing. Those who believe in kindness to all without discrimination will remember him as a great pope. Those conservative Catholics who tend to be intolerant of certain types of humans likely are not sorry he's gone. It'll be interesting to see what type of person is elected as his successor.
