I watched the second half. Purdue turned on the jets to blow open what had been a close game and thus avoid its 5th loss in a row.

Ohio State defeats Nebraska here 116-114 in double OT! Indiana loses to Oregon. I feel like we are in the BIg Dance at this point.

Purdue is playing their best basketball as the season comes to a close, they throttled Rutgers last scoring 100 points.

Rutgers has a couple great players but seems to be rebuilding. Boilers can be really good but need a bit more size. When 7'4" Jacobson went out (Game 2) for the season, Caleb Furst had to step up. He's only 6'10 and not a superstar but he started his sophmore year...then he became a sub after Zach Edey matured but he didn't sulk and played lots of tough minutes. He is the only senior on the team and a really quality kid. He's going to go to med school. Each year (for three years) he's made some funny videos as "Caleb the Elf" at Christmas time to raise money for meals for local families. They were able to provide more than 50,000 meals. Here is a link to this year's clips...They were funny to watch individually as shorts but all together it runs 5 minutes so you might find it a bit boring. Do watch the bit at about 2:00 where Brandon Smith plays the little person who beats up Buddy the Elf in the movie.

Loss to Georgia dropped our projected seed to a 2.

Thank goodness! The Aggie tailspin was starting to look like a complete collapse. Glad they were able to salvage a little here at the end of the season.

Re: Caleb Furst. He was the 2021 Indiana Mr. Basketball. Braden Smith followed him with the title in 2022. I watched the entire video. Loved it. "You're an angry elf." Hilarious!

Maryland edges Wolverines this evening in Ann Arbor. Looks like MSU will win another Big Ten Title.

I'm a fan of Tom Izzo. IMO it's fitting in the season in which he broke Bobby Knight's record for B10 wins. Having said that, we all know that winning the regular season, while notable, doesn't mean a thing in the B10 tournament. Although MSU will have the #1 seed, usually the hottest team at the time wins. Could be MSU. Could be someone else.

I completely agree Sid, I think my Buckeyes need to beat the Hoosiers Saturday in Bloomington, to qualify for the Big Dance, not an easy game for us to be sure.

Yes, Don. Not easy but winnable. Depends on which team shows up. That applies to both teams, right?

I was a bit surprised that the Illini beat Purdue last night in their season final game
