The coach is a lame duck, and one writer's acount of last night's game is headlined, "UCLA's Mick Cronin beats Hoosiers in his audition for IU job." Yes, I'd say this has been a trying season. ;)

Yep we never led. Tied it in the second half a couple of times but never got the lead. Died by poor 3 pt. shooting.

MSU outlast the Illini on the road 79-65. Illini could not get the ball in the basket in last seven minutes.

Longhorns get a big win at home vs Kentucky. 82-78. It was a back and forth game, but the Longhorns made plays when they needed them and got to the free throw line a lot and made 90% .

    They badly needed this win.

Buckeyes lose another close one to Michigan here at home 86-83. The Wolverines led most of the way but we had our chances, just couldn't convert when it counted.

Watched the first half of the Missouri/Alabama game after suffering through the ND game. Missouri was in a can't miss mode on offense, everything they threw up went in and they had Alabama in a huge hole at the half. I didn't watch the second half but I see that Missouri ended up with a nice win.

SEC really is the best basketball conference right now.

The surprise to me is KU, they got beat badly by BYU on the road, lost by 34 points. Houston is looking like the best in the B12 right now but they have to play Iowa State and Texas Tech as well as Baylor and KU to finish out the season. It's a tough finishing schedule.

As I said on Facebook, the Buckeyes lost to Northwestern here in Columbus 70-49 last night. The most inept and hard to watch basketball came I have ever watched in fifty years!:(

Not sure where that one came from Don, esp at home. I expected them to finish strong and get ready to dance. They're clearly struggling

How many teams make the Big 10 tourney? The ACC has limited it to 15 of the 18.

Saw a good series on the History of SEC Basketball, it was really good.

Big Ten will probably have a maximum 10-12 teams in my opinion.
