Always on the look out for good reads. I'm a non-fiction guy most typically history, military or foreign affairs tho I will make an effort to educate myself on hot current issues, e.g., AI.

What are you currently reading, last read and next read?

    My list:

Currently - Age of Revolutions by Fareed Zakaria (almost done)
    - Discussion of the great societal revolutions from the 1600's to present day. He's always insightful, articulate and analytically objective. I enjoy his Sunday morning show on CNN

Last - The Coming Wave - Mustafa Suleyman
    - Technology, power and 21st Century's Greatest Dilemma - an AI read written by a machine learning pioneer and currently Microsoft's AI CEO. Informative and thought provoking

Next - At the Highest Levels - Michael Beschloss
    - Inside story on the end of the Cold War. Always enjoy Beschloss

Halfway through my umpteenth Grisham book but have mixed it up the last couple of years:

The Confidante - Christopher C. Gorham : The story of Anna Rosenberg

James: A Novel - Percival Everett: A reimagined story of Huckleberry Finn from the the slave Jim's point of view

The New York Game - Kevin Baker (no relation): History of the parallel rise of NYC and professional baseball

Look For Me There: Grieving My Father, Finding Myself - Luke Russert

and several others. A potpourri of fiction and non-fiction

I do dabble in fiction from time to time. Most typically Grisham, Nelson DeMille, Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn types. Not a big sci-fi guy unless you include Star Wars and Harry Potter.

The New York Game sounds interesting Sid, thanks for sharing
