Maybe not for long re: your FB team. The new coach is very active in the portal. Will it be another IU? Stay tuned.

I agree Terry, we have some young talent (freshman) that are really a big help. AS you indicated the games down the road willbe more difficult. We will see how those game play out .

My gracious I was watching the OSU Purdue on Peacock and fell asleep, only to wakeup and learn my Buckeyes had won the game 70-73 in a very late turnaround. Now thats embarrassing:(.

Boilers couldn't hit a three (plus Bucks kept them off the line pretty well.) Buckeyes couldn't miss a three, even the desperation shots at the clock violation buzzer. Hit them again and again. Frustrating game for Purdue but kudos to the Buckeyes. They needed this win.

Not a big surprise. It might affect them a little, but I'm assuming mostly kids who play in the Ivies are there for the Education first and foremost.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Ivy League will not join the antitrust settlement that will allow schools to pay their players directly, a decision that leaves the conference of eight elite academic institutions clinging to college sports' amateur model even as it is increasingly abandoned by the NCAA's biggest powers.

Ivy League executive director Robin Harris said in an email to players and coaches this week that the conference will maintain its scholarly focus rather than accept the roster and endorsement regulations included in the House settlement that will shape the NCAA's latest leap toward professionalism.

"This decision to 'not opt in' means the Ivy League and its schools ... will continue to provide an educational intercollegiate athletics model that is focused on academic primacy and the overall student-athlete experience," Harris wrote.

I only watched the end of the Houston/KU game but wow what an ending. Huge road win for the Cougars. KU just forgot basketball fundamentals at the end, like getting the ball in bounds.

Yes it was. Alabama's foul shooting late in the game made it closer than it had to be.

Ohio State defeated Penn State on the road this evening 83-64 and lead most of the way. That's two wins in conference play in a row, which is very encouraging to me.

Big time Indiana rivalry game last night, Purdue 81 - IU 76. Had everything. Lead changes, chippiness. A treat for this Hoosier to watch.

IU looks a lot tougher than their record. Did they play "better" and "tougher" than Purdue? (as Robbie Hummel kept saying)...I dunno...We are lacking a bit in size and height since our 7'4" guy got hurt for the year in the second game. They made a big deal about how last year we were plus 9 or something in rebounds and this year only plus 1. Well DUH! Zach Edey ain't there no more, Mr. Obvious. I thought the non-call at the end was a good non-call despite the fact that Robbie and what's his name went on and on about it. Didn't see much contact at all and they had been allowing a lot more banging than that the whole game...but of course I'm biased. Anyway I think the Hoosiers played awfully well and will have some more wins against good teams. If that game wasn't in Mackey we probably lose.

Agree Stu that was a very aggressive game and I thought the Hoosiers were going to win the game, but surprised to see the final score this morning.
