Time to start a Spring Sports topic, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, etc.

Today Irish men are at Duke and getting Flagged by the Dookies. Cooper Flagg is freaking good. We're fighting and all but they have just ooo many players for us to handle.

Tomorrow the women are at Clemson. Irish women are the Duke of the ACC women's teams. I doubt if we make it undefeated but odds are high that we win the ACC.

The good news for the Irish men is that Sir Mohammed is playing. He was one of our best freshmen recruits but has been out for awhile with an injury.

Irish put up a good fight, but go down 86-78, Cooper Flagg put up a 42 spot on us though a new ACC Freshman record. The kid is the real deal. Irish had it down to 4 at one point late, but then had to play the foul game and Duke hit them all.

Irish women were with out AA Guard Hannah Hildalgo in their game vs Clemson today and it showed. It was a tight contest that they prevailed in the end but it was a struggle. She tweaked an ankle vs Wake Forrest and Coach held her out being careful with her star player. 67- 58 with PItt Transfer Liautu King the leading scorer, she's been a terrific addition to this squad.

Men's Hockey which has had a terrible season and were 1-11-1 in the Big 10 Hockey, got a much needed win over top 10 ranked Michigan yesterday, 7-4.

Irish men get a much needed win over BC tonight at home. Tae Davis had a great night and the fouls line was the difference. We shot 23-27 vs BC only 6-6. It was close most of the game but the Irish got going late and sort of ran away from them.

The women have a big game with Ga.Tech on Thursday, hopefully Hannah will be 100%

No hannah, no problem! Maddy in her first start puts up 20pts and Sonia puts up 21 points as the Irish take down #18 Ga. Tech 81-66

Irish men go down at Syracuse, another can't finish type of loss. Tae Davis was out of sorts today, nothing went down for him. Zero points from the bench.

Stu, it's subscriber only, but the writer said he's glad they named him OC. That's all I need to know. Thanks.

I hate when that happens...plus much of the time you can't even tell it's blocked until your friends tell you they can't get in.

It's a pretty long column but very complimentary to Rees. And the author, IMO, is a really good sports journalist.

I hope Tommy is successful, he's been fighting uphill ever since he stepped on the campus at ND as a too slow, weak armed QB who somehow kept winning the job.

If he can make the Browns better, hat off to him! He has a real challenge ahead of his efforts.
