Yeah, I think he is trying to compensate for his lack of strength of schedule.

Good 1st half, Irish defense held IU to 3 points and the offense put up 17 points. But I couldn't say we dominated them, their DL played well for the most part except on the 98 yd TD run.

It would be huge to get the ball and score on the opening drive of the 2nd half.

I certainly do not see much red in the stadium?

I am surprised. Really did not think ND would dominate Indiana like this now that Rourke is healthy but by not going for it on 4th down, looks the Indiana is simply trying to avoid being routed. Georgia’s young QB will be tested by Golden’s defense.

I don’t remember seeing the crowd that into a game in a long, long time. It looked crazy.
And yes, not much red in the stands.

I'm very happy to admit I was wrong about the attendance and that there are enough fiercely loyal ND fans to essentially fill the stadium. I'm like Tim. The sound of the crowd reminded me of some of the SEC venues like A&M and LSU (Sorry, Scott, for putting them in the same sentence). It's been years since I've heard an ND crowd that vibrant. The last time I was at a game like that was the 1988 Miami game.

I hope that we get the same atmosphere at the Shoe tonight, despite rumors of being over-run by Tennessee fans. My son Chris (Boondock Muskies) is driving up from Nashville in his Scarlet and Gray...and bringing a friend along who is a Tennessee fan.

Looks like our Kicker finally got his head on straight. Just in time for CFP. Crowd seemed to go crazy after he first made FG!

Yeah I’m sure. Went to Capital One Bowl with my LSU buddy when they destroyed us. We’re still friends.

One of my longtime best friends was born and raised in South Bend, is an IU alum, and hates ND and Purdue.

;);)Yeah...he grew up in New Orleans and still lives there. LSU grad. Good friend. Not much fashion sense, though.
I think it’s kind of a three way dislike. ;)

Bobby Carpender said on Game Day that the biggest non-Michigan game he played in during his Ohio State career was 2005 Texas game. Made me think of G-Man. RiP

21-0 Buckeyes. Playing like the team everybody expected at the beginning of the season.

Disappointed we did not score any points in the second quarter. Now the barn door is open. We need to close it quickly in the second half.
