Yikes, not a good time to be a Gator. Florida Gators men's basketball coach Todd Golden is the subject of a Title IX investigation following allegations of sexual harassment, stalking and cyberstalking from multiple women, including students, according to a complaint sent anonymously to Gainesville media outlets and later obtained by ESPN on Friday. Florida received a formal Title IX complaint against Golden on Sept. 27 that includes allegations of sexual exploitation, sexual harassment and stalking, The Alligator, the university's independent student newspaper, first reported. Golden, a 39-year-old married father of two young boys, aimed these behaviors toward Florida students and former students, according to the Title IX complaint, which was also obtained by WCJB TV20 in Gainesville. Heck of a game in Lawrence tonight. Jayhawks at one point looked like they were gong to run the Tar Heels out of the building but UNC came back and it went all the way to the last shot. KU 92-UNC 89.
Fight on the Auburn basketball charter headed to Houston for today's game with the Houston Cougars caused it to turn around. Took another flight later. Sources: Auburn scuffle forces flight to turn back
Purdue loses freshman Daniel Jacobsen for the rest of the year with a broken tibia suffered in the first couple minutes of the Northern Ky game. A lot was hoped for from the four star 7'4" center.
Just read that Katie Smith, women's basketball legend, has been hired as an assistant coach, by the university along with Jacy Sheldon as player development.
Buckeyes win home opener 81-47 over Youngstown State. OHio State is now rated 21st in top 25 after win over Texas in the Hall of Fame game last week.
Love the Katie Smith hire....Buckeye legend to be sure. Apparently has accomplished all she wants in the WNBA and wants to come home. Love it...she was a force of nature. Gotta be good for the program
I agree that hire came out of the blue, at least to me. She is married now and her ageing parents (Logan Oh) apparently entered the picture as well.
Looking forward to the game Friday night with Texas A&M on the road. Another win over a Texas team would please me immensely.
Paint Crew = Basketball student cheering section (Matt PAINTer) Hats off to Purdue for that strong stand.
That was quite a game last night between Duke and Kentucky last night, I only watched the second half but what an exciting game and finish. Kentucky managed to upset Duke in the final minutes 77-72.
I watched as well, in the 1st half it looked like Duke was going to run them over, but the Wildcats just wouldn't go away. Great game. That kid Cooper Flagg really is good isn't he.
Irish women get a test tonight with a solid James Madison team who is projected to win the Sun Belt Conference.
