    Who needs a Japanese pitcher? This kid had an average 97 mph fastball yesterday. Eight pitches, three outs vs. the strength of the A's batting order. The most important thing.....Lou likes him.

    Jeff has a lot of upside in terms of star power....that is if he reaches the bigs and pitches well. I'll be very interested in hearing how he looks when he comes to Ft. Wayne. I'll bet it'll be a sellout!
