My brother Doug passed away this morning, he suffered from Parkinson's Disease. He went peacefully at home, I was up to see him last week and I had a feeling that I wouldn't see him again. It was his time, his quality of life had severely declined and he's at peace now. Those of you who made it to ND games met him, his son Brian was our ND grad class of '90. You had to have shared a beer with him at a tailgate or at the Mishiwaka Brewing company. He was a proud graduate of Xavier and was a named sponsor of their Athletic HOF. He worked his whole life at UPS and retired at age 55. Had a good run, lived a good life till the Parkinsons reared it's head. I'll miss him.
I'm sorry, Terry. I've had a couple of close friends succumb to Parkinson's. It's terrible. I agree with BT. It's good that you visited him, which should provide you with some amount of closure. Where did he live?
Thanks guys. Doug moved to Austin when he retired. Stu actually spent one night in his house when he was here for the 2006 Ohio State game. He moved here for tax purposes from the L. A. area.
