The actual show at the game, not the Lingerie bowl, has the Rolling Stones headlining. I have one suggestion for them: They need to change the words from "You make a grown man cry" to "You make an OLD man cry!" What I don't understand is this: How can Keith Richards support half of the foreign drug cartels and still be alive and rock n rolling at his age? I realize that some of the older members here may not like this performance. However, I grew up listening to the Stones and commend them for being able to perform as part of the geriatric crowd.
Now on to the real half time show: The Lingerie Bowl! Super Bowl XL was an exciting game. For me, at least, I expect this game to be even more EXCITING!
Stones were an embarassment tonight, maybe it was the sound system or something. But if this is what they have to sell now they should retire. I saw them 2 years ago at Reliant Stadium, and thought they'd lost it then. But it's sort of a matter of taste I guess. I've liked some of their songs but overall not a big fan. Terry
The coach of the New york team is former Tennessee great, Willie Gault. The coach of the Los Angeles team is Jim McMahon. I don't have a favorite in this game but since Willie Gault is coaching the NY team... Count me on their side! Just waiting to see any wardrobe malfunctions that may occur.
They have just announced that Refridgerator Perry is a substitute that can be called on by either team to run the ball. Please tell me that he will not be in lingerie!
Not going to give it all away there Terry but I will report that there has been two wardrobe malfunctions in the first half!
For those of you curious about what MCG looks like, here is a picture of him and Miss Malone! Uh, he's the one wearing jeans! This offically outdoes Tenn Tom's picture of him with the Tenn Cheerleaders!! Terry
Oh yeah I think MCG said something about her working her way through college and supporting her invalid mother! She wants to be a dentist I believe. Terry
As you can see...she's already under my tutelage. I am keeping a "close" eye on her progress as well!
MCG, I have a new found respect and admiration for you that I find difficult to put into words at this moment... Salud!
WOW... <t>Now that was impressive and I don't mean the latest butchered National Anthem or the pitiful halftime show which I watched for all of one minute.</t>
Thank you George. It's a tough job keeping these young ladies on the right track...... but somebody's gotta do it!
There was no discussion about taking it down, MCG. Must be an issue with where Terry has it located. Update... I bet that Terry accidently deleted it from his web space. I tried to enter the address manually and the file is not found. Terry... Calling Doc O'Keefe...
Tom, Nice pics of you and the UT cheerleaders but next time get it taken in hot weather if you know what I mean.
I will take that sage advice. However, we normally get to games in late October through Late November. Late October is when my business starts falling off for the seasonal shutdown for Christmas and New Years. Before that time, my schedule is booked. I need for Tennessee to come to Austin for a Basketball game or a Baseball game so that I can get that warm weather picture.
