Seen it before in football and likely to see it in football this year if say LSU or SC beats UF on the road.

There's something about a successful UF team that brings down the goalposts or the nets....etc....when the home team pulls out the win.

In this case on Sat. night in Lexington I think these Cat fans are getting way ahead of themselves.

This is what Ky will face on Sat:

"They're the best team I've ever coached against as a head coach or assistant," Georgia coach Dennis Felton said. "Their combination of size, athleticism and skill makes them special."

    Go Gators!!!

Well, it will be an interesting game to watch and with the top 2 teams in the SEC. This is definitaley a game UF can lose, and that may not be bad.

However, if UF can top the 'cats, then they head into the final 6 games with a 3-game lead over UK.

UF is only a two point favorite in spite of their recent SEC dominance.

Some over on Cat's Pause think this Gator team is identical to the last soft Gator team that was annointed number 1 in the days prior to going to Lexington and getting clocked by the insulted Cats.

They have not been watching Florida play for the last two years obviously.

Kentucky couldn't hit anything from the outside tonight. Good win for the Gators.

But this was the real star tonight!

In spite of the Gator sloppiness in that last 20 seconds this was a solid....no...a great win for Fla.

A record crowd at Rupp....a 9 o'clock start....ESPN...KY was 2-0 vs. #1 teams on their home court....they were on a winning streak of their own and were climbing back into SEC contention....

I would say there were no Fla teams in the past that would have prevailed in this one.

Whew! At halftime, I thought the streak was over, especially the way Bama was shooting.

    Nice comeback.

Big game @ Vandy on Saturday.

Bama was unconscious in the first half and that probably led to their undoing when things got closer in the 2nd half because they knew their 1st half hot streak couldn't sustain itself.
